The most common requirement is to resize text on a website. You can expand or shrink text using your browser on all well-written sites, not just those offering text resize buttons: In an up-to-date browser press the Ctrl and + keys together to expand text, and the Ctrl and - keys to shrink text.

If your browser is not up-to-date then please refer to the My Web My Way site for instructions. You may also want to consider upgrading or updating your browser to take advantage of the extra speed, security, clarity and helpful features offered for free by newer browsers.
This is a bit like being able to get a new car just by asking for it!

Our webmaster highly recommends the Firefox browser, especially for those currently using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Installation is quick and easy, and Firefox offers many excellent extra features such as enabling you to expand or shrink images as well as text; it also remembers sites you have visited and enables you to find them by just typing in a word associated with the site (e.g. "news" for BBC News) rather than the full web address. And much more.
